Custom Long Shield

Post by Soman »

Image
I made this custom shield about year ago, and I never found any thing to use it for. Personally I don't like it that much but what do you guys think?

I think it looks great but you need to lower it a bit. That would make a great shield wall and you might want to curve it a little bit more.

I agree with Princess_C, as llittle more curving (and some painting), and it would be great to use in a shieldwall. Or maybe as a pavise shield?(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pavise)

I think a good paint job would be key. Make it silver or any kind of dark color to make it pop and then any embellishments you see fit like an animal or flames, that would make an awesome shield wall.

Before painting it I would sand the edges a little bit just so that they aren't as rough.

It would make a good pavise, but kinda too big for a shield.
