32x32 Castle Challenge: Valenpeak Castle
32x32 Castle Challenge: Valenpeak Castle
This is an entry for Eric and Trevor's 32x32 castle challenge.
At first I thought, "oh 32x32 is nothing, I'll just sit down for an evening and see what I come up with", but it turned out to be very hard for me to fit everything I wanted to add onto a 32x32 baseplate, but I'm happy with the result

I couldn't build a structure that cool if you held a ray gun to my head. Let alone on a 32x32 baseplate. Skills my man.

You've just inspired me to try my hand at this contest. I'll have to make/set aside some time for to work on an entry!
It's great how your architecture is cohesive, and while not plain, is also not too crowded with details. In fact, I'm still in awe that you manages such a large-but seemingly un-crowded structure onto a standard BP!

It's hard to believe you fit all of that on there, it really looks amazing. The round tower and the different angles really came out nice. I like the little scene on top of the round tower, no goofing off for those guards, lol!

That's a top notch little fort/tower. Like the use of multiple colors and textures for the walls.

Love it!! The combination of angled walls and the round tower really works well. You are the King of Angles I also noticed what seems to be your signature mottled look with sand green and tan thrown in there. Others may do it, but I seem to notice it often in yours (not a bad thing, a good thing ). I like how the MOC seems to be skewed in size. What I mean is, the square tower seems so much bigger than the bottom portion yet it doesn't look wrong. This is quite a large creation for a 32 x 32. Well done. An interior is all that's missing.

This is exceptional. It's got my vote for the best so far.
