If you've been looking through BrickFair galleries, you've surely already run across Brickistan by one of our newest forum members, Sandy Cash (Tanager). If not, you need to do so now.

what got my atention was the archers at the gate, what are they having as bows?

I want to say that those are BrickForge longbows. I know that the helmets, shields, and such came from BrickForge, and I think the bows did as well. Been a while since I bought them, so memory is a bit fuzzy.

Absolutely impressive. It was one of those things I noticed immediately when browsing through the photos of BrickFair.
Really great stuff Sandy! I love the architectural styles you've captured so well.

This is a very unique and great MOC! There aren't many other MOCs around that have an arabian architecture, and none this big.

I enjoy the fact that it's something other than the traditional "European" medieval theme. It's beautiful to look at and inspires me to achieve bigger and better things.

I love the little quirky bits of life being played, if quirky is the correct word. Perhaps 'detailed' would be a better choice. For example, the guy in the barrel at the top of the waterfall, the lady ditching a suitor over the balcony, and the elephant near what looked to me to be a box of bananas. If I saw any of these details incorrectly, the point remains that sometimes I find the most enjoyable part of a MOC to be these bits of real life that are added quite near the end as they truly bring the rest of the work to life.

This was most impressive to see in person, especially all that dark orange. The architectural style could easily be used in a fantasy castle build and the use of colors was quite refreshing. Also of note was the landscaping surrounding it.

This is awesome and frustrating, in the way that when you see it, you think:
"GRRAH I WISH I COULD BUILD THAT!!!"
Like many have said, there really is no question of the style of regions you're evoking. Spot-on colors, excellent architectural design, and hands down one of the most impressive undertakings I've seen posted in a long time!

You saw them all pretty much correctly. I had meant for the elephant to be drinking from the Emir's pool and getting scolded by the tamer, but that wouldn't have been clear without me standing there to tell you. The guy in the barrel on the waterfall was my personal favorite. I was at BrickFair setting up when I realized, I have a waterfall. I have a fig. I have a head with a terrified look. I have a barrel. Obviously, someone is going over the falls in the barrel.
