Orc (.. "Troll Warrior")

Post by Lamanda2 »

Just finished this drawing, inspired by a LEGO Orc:

I drew it in pencil earlier, then finished the rest in Paint.NET.. Took me a couple hours to do that, but I had a blast and am pretty happy with the way it came out, too!
Hope you enjoy it! :)

Hey great job, really has that Orcish look to him. I like the little tuft of hair too. :orc:

Hoho, that's awesome! It looks realistic whilst retaining that LEGO feel as well. :D

Thanks, guys! I'm happy you like it!

This might just inspire me to draw some other LEGO minifigs in the future. I can always draw better when I have a good idea of what I'm drawing in my head, and I know my LEGO like the back of my hand!

Let me add my own vote of praise here. Not only does your drawing look very professional, it has great style and character. I've always admired your customized accessories--very highly I might add--but I think this is even better.

Yay!

You are too kind! :)

Thanks for the praise, I appreciate it so much! Sometimes I wish I could see things I draw or create through the eyes of others, because being the one who drew it, I can't help but focus on the parts of it I don't like, heh.

But then again, I suppose that is an important part of learning to do something - If you can't see the faults, you can't really improve on them, can you?

Thanks again!
