Lord of the Rings Characters

Post by TheBohrok »

Hi everyone; I recently got the urge to take pictures of the Lord of the Rings minifigures I've had lying around waiting to be photographed. Here is the Flickr Gallery and the Brickshelf Gallery when moderated. Hopefully there will be more to come soon.

Those figs looks relly nice!
I especially like the Rohirrim, for some reason.
Maybe Legolas´ torso should be a little bit more detailed, and not just a standard forestman torso?

I like them too. Aragorn looks different somehow... I don't remeber the witchking having a sword, though I may just be thinking of the last battle. Nice figs though. :)
To those who are about to Lego: toss me a few bricks.

Very nice. Where did you get the blond Qui-Gonn hair? Or was that a custom piece?

Thanks for the comments, guys! Blue Moon Knight, I plan on redoing Aragorn, as that version in the picture is very old. Also, the Witch King does indeed have a sword, one with flames coursing along the length of the blade. Maybe I'll digitally add some to recreate the scene from the book and movie.

DraconisTerrena, Legolas' hair is a custom-painted Qui-Gon hairpiece.

I love Gimli and Sam! Nice job! My only qualm is the Witch-King. I'd rather you make a custom-made MACE than a Lego made FLAIL. :)

Nice work! I liked Aragorn and the four hobbits the best out of them, but hey all look great.
