MCC V Entry: Kingdom In A Box

Post by TooMuchCaffeine »

The wizard Vutton's famous portable kingdom...

Image

Had this idea kicking about for a while and then I saw the announcement of MCCV. Had to give it a go.

Brilliantly original- the build looks great by itself, but the chest makes it truly unique.

It isn't LEGO though! Does that disqualify it?

Otherwise, great entry!

Really neat idea, I like it. The scenery is simple, but looks really good.

Fantastic, I really like the studless approach and incorporating the chest is a really a wonderful idea. It's a pitty the chest isn't LEGO though ;)

This is great, and such an original idea! I love your work, 2much.
Where did you find that box?
You smuggled it out of a dwarven kingdom, didn't you? Come on, come clean!

Why don't you let the judge worry about that, and just say what you think of the MOC?

I think it's refreshing to see something non-Lego incorporated with a neat MOC. I wouldn't want to see that become a trend, but it's nice every once in a while. Fantastic work.

Hello,

My name is Blueandwhite and I'm a purist. That being said, I have a guilty confession to make... er, I really like this MOC!

In all seriousness, this is one of those exceedingly rare situations where I feel that a non-LEGO element is actually suitable. I probably could never bring myself to do something similar but the effect is fantastic. Great work.
