New kid on the Block

Post by vinchenso »

Hiya all, yes i am new and this is my first topic post and second post... :) neways I love medieval action fantasy everything, books, movies, games and lego (especially). I've made quite a collection over the years, but am a bit behind compared to most. Neways i like sticking to instructions first then going custom set on them. I'm currently a selective high school student in NSW, Australia and as a result I'm a bit of a newbie with lego and only get one of each set, due to a lack of funds.... :( I've made some pretty cool stuff, but only just started really to join lego internet sites ie. MOC etc. I might sign up soon. I play a good deal of sport mostly soccer, tennis and i made state level in long distance running. Speaking of books i can recommend reading Robin Hobb's "Soldier Son" trilogy. Back to topic. I have got some of the old school castle lego sets and the relatively recent and new lego. My parents don't see the art of lego and think it's a tad bit stupid, but i do prevail in continuing my intrigue for lego. I look forward to learning more about lego and improving my skills and making some friends. I am the new kid on the block, but not new to the lego block.
