For me it was always "two-dots," "four-dots," "flat four-dots." Of course, that was at the daycare, where there weren't that many unique pieces. :lol:
To those who are about to Lego: toss me a few bricks.

Hm. I can't say that I've ever really used any speech like that, me being in my teens and never building with my parents, but I always categorized them(from age 7-11) with little papers saying "flats"(plates) "1by-_" "2by_" "roof pieces"(slopes) "special pieces"(Miscellaneous) and so on. If I ever have kids, knowing me, I'll probably try to make them use the official brick names. :halo:
