Engraved bricks by Matija Puzar

Postby Bruce N H » Tue Jun 30, 2009 8:42 am

Hey all,

I just saw this gallery of engraved bricks Matija Puzar. The variety of things makes it look like he may be putting together an engraving business, but I don't find anything on that on his MOCpage or by googling around a bit. Anyway, I thought the work on the cannons and the planks for the bench were especially brilliant (you really have to look at the large pictures to see these details).

Interesting. Has anyone had any experience engraving bricks? What kind of tools are necessary to achieve the straight lines, etc.? I've used a hand-held Dremel tool / metal engraver before, but it's very difficult to get a steady line without a jagged edge.

Woops! I meant to comment here: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=18318 My apologies for resurrecting an old thread.
