 Hi! I am an extremely long-time lurker. When I became interested in LEGO at age nine, I'm pretty sure this was the first fan-site I visited.
Now, I'm going on fifteen and just now finally signed up! This is an extremly friendly site, so I figured that that I better join in on the fun. I kept putting it off again, again, and again, but now I'm a proud member of Classic-castle. I don't have an extremely large collection, only a little over a $K, but I will probably spend an estimated $700 next year. Castle and Pirates are tied as my favorite themes, with Indiana Jones being my second favorite, and of course,Space, is my third. My favorite on-line builders are Aliencat and Anthony Sava. :eyebrows:

I have a deep love of Tolkien, who inspired me to make up my own fantasy universe! I've written a seventy page novel, I have several projects in the works that I would love to show to everyone! :) I also have a book of illustrations for the novel, about twenty maps, thirty full-color drawings of different troop types, a full color-hand-drawn mural called "Charge of the Crownies," and a huge history book. Needless to say, Sava had a huge influence on me also!

Besides LEGO, one of my favorite hobbies is the Total War game series. I love movies also, with my top three being: LOTR, Star Wars, and Waterloo. Look at my name.hehe. My favorite Castle theme is without a doubt Black Falcons. Sadly I don't own a single one. When I moved a few years back, my Mom threw away a box of my older brother's toys. I later learned that box probably held my brothers old LEGO COLLECTION! But any way, HI! Yes, I'm kinda long winded, please forgive me.

Hi, welcome to CC.

I'd like to point out that your sig is a bit wrong- for one thing, you're hardly the first person to say "Put off today what you can do tomorrow". Secondly, Edward Bulwer-Lytton said "The pen is mightier than the sword", not Napolean.

But hello nonetheless. ;)
...and that's how Equestria was made!

Thank you for all being so kind to me! I worried a little when I saw how long it was, so sorry. Man, I can't believe I didn't see Aliencat's joke coming! I mean to be a long-time member here, and I will try to contribute to the community as much as possible. See you around! Oh, and I'll fix my sig, I just thought I read in one of my schoolbooks that Napoleon said that. The other one by me is just a joke. :spin:

Laird: Please note, speaking in all caps online is the same as yelling at someone. That is not very friendly for welcoming someone to our forums. Please refrain from using all caps again.
