Jelly Bean Knight
Jelly Bean Knight
In your opinion, what is the best of the four jellybean knights: Santis, Jayko, Rascuas, or Danju?

Green guy. At least the first one. The latter ones, I'm not real sure on.

Re: Jelly Bean Knight
I don't really see one being better/worse than any of the others. A powder-blue breastplate isn't really any different than a green red or purple one. All of the figures work within the KKII-theme but none of them really fit with my tastes. I like the Purple (Danju) and Red (Kentis) knights' heads though. The Rascus head has become overused and Jayko's head doesn't really stand out (IMO).

Re: Jelly Bean Knight
My answer is split so to speak. I think all the character names are junk, with Santis being the only one I'd maybe use. All the heads are cool, but the Jayko one is my least favorite. I have no use for the colored armor of those four. I liked all the visors except for Santis's, but even then they seem out of place. The faction emblem was cool for all except Rascus. I hated the monkey emblem. As you can see, just a bunch of parts here and there.

Re: Jelly Bean Knight
Most of them sound like something to heal like diarrhea with, like Quickblade pointed out. I like the red dude, Santis, and the original shield of Danju, the purple dude. I don't know why I remember their names, they stick in your head, even though before this I haven't heard them for years.

Now there is a pleasant thought...and YES that was sarcasm. I have no idea why one would ever think to equate something as awesome as LEGO with something as...unpleasant as diarrhea...even when it might be a theme you dislike. Rather gross statement. Most of them sound like something to heal like diarrhea with, like Quickblade pointed out.
Now on the topic of the thread. I'm meh about most of them. I only find KK2 knights good for making my nephews happy to play with. Although, I do rather like the shadow knights.

Purple please. Royal purple. Works well with the new gold arms and armor elements as well. Very regal.

Re: Jelly Bean Knight
To which versions are you refering? The first were printed with geometric armor, the second were printed with the symbols taken from the shields.
Sir Jayko actually had two geometric versions, one with the standard armor over piece, and the other was a torso printed with the geometric design (5999 Jayko - 2005) offered in Brickmaster Trial Offer. The second of which could be used in bulk as men-at-arms under Sir Jayko with the geometric armor. I never even bought the symbol version of Sir Jayko.
I have both versions of Sir Santis minifigs. The armor and helmets are okay, but I changed out the heads, toros and legs for a better look.
Sir Rascus: both versions aren't worth it.
Sir Danju: same as Sir Rascus.

He who thinks you should look at the box that says "Quaraga" if you want to find out his username (about as useful to you as his real name). he only wants you to look so he can laugh about you looking there because he's a total smart...

Hello!
You mean: Which one I dislike the least? From the Original Four anyway? I really can't decide. I liked the style of visor for Rascus, though. Unfortunately, of all things the Rascus-visor was not also produced in a decent colour. Sometimes Lego (the company) really does it all wrong.

I agree, the monkey crest was rather silly. But I like the torso-print version of his first armour:gedren_y wrote:Sir Rascus: both versions aren't worth it.

Re: Jelly Bean Knight
Hmmm...I'd say that every single knight is evenly matched. Meaning that one specializes in speed, one specializes in strength, one specializes in agility, and one specializes in wisdom. Each one would be good for different missions (or whatever).
I personally like Jayko the best (For his head), but I use the red one (Santis?!) the most.

Re: Jelly Bean Knight
I'm not fond of any of them...But I think the best out of the four would probably be Santis.
