Sorry I missed this first time round...

Very nice work. I particularly like the path and flowers in the centre. I understand you were going for a perfect castle so I'll let you off for not having more irregularity ; ) The angles are also very impressive. My main suggestion (and it is a personal take) would be to have more landscaping around the castle to 'ground' its massive scale.

Still, it's nice for those of us who didn't catch it the first time around.

Anthony, you've probably heard this a million times, but why not hear it a million and one: Ulmaris has got to be one of the most iconic Lego castles ever made. Every castlehead with internet access knows about Ulmaris. It's like the Death Star of Lego Castle - a giant, incredible piece of work that you never forget once you've seen it. And it makes dem rebels go boom.

Not to be mean, but it's totally fine to raise an old topic from time to time. It is better to dig through the archives and resurrect on older thread on a MOC than for each individual who runs across something like Ulmaris to start a brand new thread. And just because someone is newer to the hobby doesn't mean they can't appreciate an older MOC. Heck, I think we should all periodically reexamine Ed Boxer's castle - over a decade old and still a standard we should all strive to achieve.
What is frowned upon is for someone to dredge up a ton of old threads, so that truly new content is pushed down and out of sight. It's also less welcome to drag up old threads if there is nothing new added to the conversation, which might have been a more legitimate complaint here. However, a spirit of welcoming might be better on someone's first post.
