Minifig collection at Toyfair 2010?

Post by Ye Olde Republic »

More of a question to our ambassador but, we wonder if the minifig collection will be shown at the NY Toyfair next year. My logical guess would be 'no' because they are not for outside retailers to sell. Although......Toyfair is also to raise awareness of products to the public as well so I suppose it's possible that they'd (TLG) would want to show off their newest idea.

Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

I see an assumption here that they will be sold nowhere but at LEGO retail stores. Is that true?

Whatever information we've received has been vague but what I've gleaned is that these will only be sold at LEGO brand stores and theme parks. Shop at home too, I would imagine.

Usually right around Presidents' Day, taking full advantage of the long weekend for travel and all. It's in New York for the USA, but there are also events in other nations highlighting the local flavor. Use the Google as stated above, if you believe in it's power.

Regardless of? Ain't a real time conversation going on here so there is plenty of time between postings to do your own research and if you would like to discuss with me the merits of doing your own research, I'll see you in the chat-room later this evening.

Why not?
The minifigs are in the German retail catalog I just got from TRU in Germany.

Are they? That's exciting news to be sure. Like I mentioned above I was going on the tiny bit of news/information we've been provided so far. This makes me very happy as these are IMO, the ultimate in impulse purchases and I wouldn't ever walk out of store without buying one if they're availible.
