LEGO Castle Element Survey
Re: LEGO Castle Element Survey
Oh, yes. I forgot. More door pieces. Some new ones would be most appreciated. I'm quite tired of the Harry Potter ones.

Re: LEGO Castle Element Survey
I would also like to see existing hairpieces and hats like the forestman's cap in new colours (dark green, dark red, black dark tan etc.). We have a great assortment of castle elements already, but it would be great to see some different colours.

Re: LEGO Castle Element Survey
1. BROWN BEAR [there has been a polar bear for almost 10 years already, why not make a brown one; not only that, a bear fits Castle perfectly]
2. Bring back halberds
3. Grey dogs, maybe? (wolves!)
4. Those triple-leaf plant pieces that you put a flower onto

A grey Dog would be nice but I would like a completely new Dog, more like a hound, or beagle... For hunting!
Re: LEGO Castle Element Survey
1. Forestman Hat - Red, Blue, Yellow - How 'bout if I ask real nice? Please?
2. Any New or Old Plumes - Any Color
3. New Deer piece - I would suggest similar to horse, with removable antler pieces
4. Brick, 2x4 - Old Light Gray
5. More painting/tapestry pieces (similar to this one)
6. New Fox piece
Also, I'd like to add my support to everyone asking for orange, red and brown leaf pieces.

Ooooooh! A large ommision we have here, Gothic arches!
Also, I love the idea of arches that you could build with only one stud between them, like this:

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

As a side note, if you aren't opposed to customization, you can make the bottom one using one of these and a hacksaw or scroll saw, just cut off the last stud and a half or two studs.Ye Olde Republic wrote:Ooooooh! A large ommision we have here, Gothic arches!

Re: LEGO Castle Element Survey
I'm totally in favour of:
1) the lancet arch or gothic arch. We need this. It could be great if in different sizes
2) the double arch with one stud in the middle. I'd like it in both 1x4 arch and 1x3 arch.
3) a window that could fit in a 1x3 arch. So a window like this that could fit here

Re: LEGO Castle Element Survey
Dear LEGO...
I have an unusual request: please do not make new Castle weapons anymore. Yes, I said it. Some people probably think I'm not all there in the head when I say that... To them, I say that there have already been so many weapon molds for Castle (including a lot of terrible ones... *cough* Power Rangers swords from KK2) that, rather than creating new ones (which are very unlikely to be as good as the classics, anyway), I believe LEGO should bring back some good old ones, such as: the halberd (to replace this ugly new spear thing from Orient Expedition! I hate those!), the broadsword (I mean the Royal King's sword; not sure what it's called), the bow (I haven't seen those in a while...), the pitchfork etc.
Anybody agree with me?

I do! Except, I like those Orient Expedition pikes, and the halberd is still in sets. (Trolls' Mountain Fortress)

Re: LEGO Castle Element Survey
No, not really. TLG should and will continue to develop new weapon elements for Castle sets, probably (and preferably) in the vein of relatively historically accurate arms. It is both pleasing for fans, and financially sound for them, to do so.Mörs wrote:I have an unusual request: please do not make new Castle weapons anymore. (blah blah) Anybody agree with me?
It's interesting to see that fans still want the fall-colored foilage (leaves), all these years later.
I'd like to see some of the other parts mentioned, such as the pitchfork. A mace, or a warhammer would be pretty neat, too.
Would also be nice to see some elements that could be cross-themed, since they would be practical for production: such as the (polar) Bear - in redbrown, dark brown, or black.
"Old Wizards never die, nor fade away. They just kind of operate behind the scenes and in the shadows... doing all of their weird and wonderful Wizardy things and whatnot."
