Brick-Built Flail

Postby DarkTemplar » Sat Jan 16, 2010 1:43 am

I haven't posted in a while because I'm waiting for a brick link order but here's something I made while playing around with parts. Not sure if its been done before but it's a brick-built flail that'll keep the purists happy.

Thats a nice, and apparently quite poseable flail. But maybe the ends would look better in black? Or is the red colour blood?

My thoughts exactly. I ended up using red because my only source of technic ball joints was from Trolls Assault Wagon. But I've already placed an order on Bricklink for various colors ranging from light gray to black. Hopefully it'll be here within a week so I can post an update before the forum eats this post haha.

That's a nice brick built weapon. I wonder how it'd look with a travis brick and the viking horn pieces that lego makes.

Yes. That might look good too...
BTW. What is that shield the knight with the black armour is using? Is it a custom design you´ve made or what?

I did give it a quick go but it started to look a bit unwieldy lol.

Its the Durmstrang shield from the Harry Potter Collection. Here's the Bricklink: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3846pb19

I really like that. Great job.
When in Rome, I do as the Romans, and when in Megablocks, I do shots at the bar.

I've done something similar as a mace for one of my troll captains. It ends up being a little big, but also very wicked looking. Would be great for this flail.
To those who are about to Lego: toss me a few bricks.
