LEGO Castle 1984-2000 Webpage

Post by brickwizard »

Hi all

I'm Brickwizard and am quite new to this forum, this being my first post. :) I would like to announce and promote my newly finished document which i consider as an encyclopedia describing all the LEGO Castle sets dated 1984 - 2000.

I have invested so much of my time in researching and building this detailed collection of information, however this is available for free download for everyone :eyebrows:

Just so you know, the font has been converted to a standard default and thus compromised to a minor extent the overall appearance of the document.

Please vide the following link: http://www.scribd.com/doc/25272157/LEGO-Castle

Feel free to subscribe to my profile and leave any comments. Please let me know what you think!! Should you find this interesting, pls suggest this to all your AFOL friends

Enjoy it and thanks for your interest

Excellent work, man!! Thank you for this!

Ahh... Castle will never be as great as it was in the 1980s... Wait, did that not just sound a little optimistic? It's not! So let us hope the new theme which comes out this year (I don't think that's a spoiler, since pretty much everybody knows there IS something coming) will be at least HALF as good! :D

By the way, I think the 6103 minifig pack was the greatest Castle minifig pack ever!

Cheers!

This is great, the time you put into it shows.

You do have a very neat document. However, you have taken copyrighted images from individuals that are hosted exclusively on Classic-Castle and are using them without permission. Please remove these images and take your own. Thank you.

In addition, TLG does not like their instruction page scans to be published online without permission. The only site with this permission is http://www.peeron.com

Well I made a whole list of websites from where i got some of the images and some of the information and invited everyone to visit them in order to try to avoid copyright problems. Besides I am making no profit of this ...it was just my personal contribution to the AFOL community and surely had no malicious intentions. I will have to delete this webpage then...

I do think this will be a good community resource. Even though you are not making a profit from your page, it is not right to take and use a person's work without permission.

You just need to remove the images you took from Classic-Castle and update your file. This looks like the page was made in a program such as powerpoint and then converted to pdf type format. It should be fairly easy to remove the images found on CC and update the webpage.
