The medieval city Annin

This city was built for the Roztoky 2010 display, which will take place in April near Prague (Czech republic). It will be there a part of huge castle layout.
You can probably recognize the city hall. The tan house belongs to a fisherman, md blue to a draper and dyer, white to a baker and sand green to a doctor. The blacksmith shop can be found underneath the city hall. You can found more little scenes and doings, if you have a look...
This city is dedicated to my grandmother Anna, who died during the building.

I really enjoyed taking a look at the pictures. Your MOC is wonderful, one of the best I've ever seen I must admit. Very balanced, nice minifigs, nice scenes, beatiful colours' choice and so on...
Congratulations.

Details I liked more:
- the workers building the wall;
- the nest on the tree;
- the bell
and many others...

You appear to have a lot of 1x1 tile! Wow!!

Would you be so kind to tell me which piece did you use to do the clock in the clock building? I mean the grey piece with a hole inside which you put the viking shield.

Wow! I love EVERYTHING about this, even the technique with the 1x1 cylinders which I never really liked all that much you've managed to integrate so well and it just looks perfect! Fitting in all the houses and buildings into the limited space must have been a challenge but they look great and you've retained the details and the sense of realism!

This is quite impressive, and I have always been a huge fan of complete city mocs myself. However, I am lacking the bricks myself, so I jump at every great city I see online. This creation is quite grand, and I have to say I could not find any flaws in it. My favorite details (and this was tough, as there were so many) were the armor on the guards, the construction of a section of wall, the arches and other creative architecture, and the old, huge tree in the courtyard. I also like what appears to be three bandits or a few bandits with a hostage being confronted around the side of the castle by a guard.

The detail in this MOC is it's obviously best feature. I could literally look at this for hours. From the moulding of the paving stones, to the tiny add ons, like the bird's nest, this MOC makes one keep coming back, as it were. What seals the deal for me is that you have packed as much detail as possible without going overboard. You are toeing the line, oh so finely, but still are keeping back just enough to make it work. I know that adding enough detail to a scene is a challenge (for me at any rate) and that you have managed to do so much speaks of your greatness.

I'm sold.

This is excellent.

I particularly like the variation in architecture, from the colours in the timber-framed buildings, through the speckled roofs, to the dotting about of detail to avoid "big grey walls".

Those swans are lovely too.
