Toy Fair pics have always been considered an official announcement, so we are allowing these.

I am so excited for these new sets, particularly any and all that contain the new helm. The main castle looks like a return to the 'classic' style of the eighties, and that certainly makes me smile. I'm less excited about the heraldry for both factions, and I'm not sold on the red accent colours of the lion faction.

I will, however, be scooping up multiple copies of what appears to be 7949: Prison Transport as well as the catapult something or other pictured just below it for the figures and accessories (especially plumes and helms).

Thank you, thank you, thank you LEGO for the new sets. I'm very curious, and excited, to see where these will go.

Love the wooden castle, and the fact that the sets include doors other than the main gate. New helm is interesting, I need one :o . Like the new jester, love the green wizard. Quite impressed overall, though I think that these torsos still need develope a little.
thank you LEGO!

These look like they could be used as another faction in the Fantasy line. Maybe a vassal of the crownie king?

Since they're showing the impuse sets in Canada, can we assume they're going to be available in North America?

Hmm, let's see:
Classic-ish designs
Great helm
New horse helmet
Unicorn horn
New color (Norbert? I aught to know this...)
new color of plume?
looks like new factions to, or at least revamped classic factions

This looks win-tastic.
To those who are about to Lego: toss me a few bricks.

I hope there are fewer stickers in the final sets.

Aside from the stickers, I really like everything here. Still doesn't top the 1984 or 1986 Castle lines, IMO, but the new helmet is nice, the big castle and wooden castle both look good, and I really like the colors and design of the dragon-shield faction. Especially that dark green plume which could become a chase item.

The cart with three figures will be a great army builder, and the impulse sets are both appealing.

This is as close as TLG could get to what I was looking for in the new castle series without actually adding me to the design team. I will make more comments as these really start to hit home with me.
I wouldn't be too worried about the amount of stickers, they could still just be prototypes of prints. Especially around the window.

Why...are those unicorns I see? Or just horses with unicorn head armor? Well, they can be unicorns if I want them to!

Now that you mention it, they do look to be the colour used for the newest super battle droids.

Hi all,
I'm really happy we can discuss about these new sets on this forum!
The pictures finally give some more details and I like more the two big sets even if TLG could have done more on the design side.
They seem to have useful pieces and very nice colour scheme and it is true that, generally speaking, the Fantasy line appear more neat that Kingdoms. In any case I like the fact that the new set remember me some old classic sets, even if the old ones still look better (Black Falcon's Fortress, for example).

I notice also that there is this piece: Image, which is smaller than this Image. And this is good in my opinion.
I am satisfied of the new sets and I'm looking forward them.

I really like the new stuff. The throne room and treasury will be good for younger kids, but isnt required for me as an adult. Other than that, these new sets are a lot more like what I have wanted for myself and my children for years.
