Hey all,
Check out this beautiful floating rock creation by Aaron D, built as part of a collaborative floating rock display by VicLUG members.
The bridge was built using BrickArms custom u-clips to connect together brown lightsaber blades.

So that's why we can't find any of them, they were in the sky the whole time! Who knew?

It was pure awesomeness in person. I was speechless when at the end of the weekend he just smashed it all and turned it into terrain for the crazy VicWars sessions the next weekend. Aaron is definitely not one to rest on his laurels.

Love that bridge! I bet Brickarms' orders increase this week.
On an unrelated note, on the front page when I first read it I thought it said "Aaron D is a Canadian AFOL from the Victorian era." Had to go back and read it again!

Wow couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this on the front page. Glad everyone is digging the u-clip technique. I have enough bits to make one way longer and plan on utilizing it in an homage to my fave set.

Re: Forestmen Floating Island by Aaron D
neat. you should continue in the line of flying stuff and forestmen
He who thinks you should look at the box that says "Quaraga" if you want to find out his username (about as useful to you as his real name). he only wants you to look so he can laugh about you looking there because he's a total smart...

Masterpiece creation. I have to build something using forestmen when I only get this new "Robin Hood" minifigure.
The trees are wonderfully done

Wow, this is really amazing. I love forest scenes and greenery, and floating rocks are also one of my favorite sub-themes. Thanks for highlighting this, Bruce.
