I know you are joking, but it's actually very easy to build a house of cards if you start with a lego baseplate because the studs prevent the bottom level of cards from slipping.

That's another thing! Lego cuts so many corners, they didn't even include a proper baseplate... :D

Nice, I never knew of these. It looks like they put much more time into this then they did with their Lego: Play On! Cards

DarkTemplar wrote:Interesting. Though I do have one question? What do the different suits look like? Are they all Royal King for king, Hubble bubble for queen and random dark forest guy for jack? I so, I think they'd be a lot better if they made each suit based on faction, ie. Basil - King, Hubble - Queen, Fleur de Les knight - jack.
Otherwise it's still a fairly neat idea, I just think it could have been better executed.
The King, Queen, and Jack cards feature the same minifigures in all suits. I agree that it would have been cool to have a different faction for each suit.

This is probably the prime example of Lego's poor thinking. Here we have a set with 53 individual pieces, that are never, ever used again in any sets. Such a waist of time and energy. And these pieces aren't even compatable with other bricks. Imagine all the money that went into creating these molds and manufacturing them, only to never be used again. Clearly Lego is on the road to destruction.
