History of LEGO Cows

Post by Bruce N H »

Cattle are a recent addition to fig-scale sets, but there is a long history of cow elements in Duplo, and, of course, Clover from Fabuland. Use this thread to discuss your favorite cattle-relevant official sets and to speculate on what sorts of cow-themed sets we can expect in the future.

My personal favorite is the Fabuland cow. I feel it is the most realistic and therefore best suited for a medieval environment. The rest are okay, but none can hold a candle to the FabuCow.

Moo, I say.

I really think we need a cow Smilie!!!!! The only one who comes close is this one

Ah and I really like the first Duplo cow. Maybe because it was the only one I ever had.

Give the fabuland one an axe or some other menacing weapon and you've got a minotaur...

I'd have to agree with Josh that the Fabuland cow is second to none when it comes to historic accuracy. Only the best for your moc, right? Sadly, I don't own a single one  I will have to rectify that through Bricklink soon!
How about a dancing cow? Image

that "fabuland" cow is horrid (insert smiley involving puke) though the minotaur point is valid any way I like the medeival market village cows best. or better yet the brickforge(?) cow

ps. someone help bruce his avtar has been attacked.
He who thinks you should look at the box that says "Quaraga" if you want to find out his username (about as useful to you as his real name). he only wants you to look so he can laugh about you looking there because he's a total smart...
