Alamut Gate by dita svelte

Post by Bruce N H »

Hey all,

This is the first serious Prince of Persia MOC I've seen, and it really sets the bar high. Dita Svelte presents the Alamut Gate:

Excellent! It's very different from the usual castle fare, but still fits in.

Nice MOC, and when you get to the reference pic of the gate from the Amber fort of Jaipur you see its really well resembeling real architectual structures too.
Cool how well the "Container Side Bags" from Fabuland worsk on the camel.

This is gorgeous. The recessed arches and headlight brick patterns are especially great but I also love the fig details (visible in individual shots- not sure where they fit in overall) and the white flower brick usage.
Gold trim is nice too. :3
...and that's how Equestria was made!

Beautiful, when i saw that on the home page I just had to read the article. I love everything about it and I'm amazed at the design and use of elements. Glad to see those fabuland bags, i just ordered some last week hoping they'd work on the camels

So I'm commenting on this again. I'm finding this as a whole very inspiring. I now have plans for some crusade mocs since I lack a large supply of grey.

Wow the work of the new arch pieces is great! This guy knows his architecture too! Great job, I'd love to see him do more. (PoP sets here I come!)
