Bricks by the Bay - April 9-11 in SF Bay Area!

Hey all! If you haven't heard, we are gonna do one of these convention thingamajigs here in Northern California! I am, of course, signed on as Castle Coordinator, and I want to see a reputable showing of castlers at this thing! It is our first event so it'll probably be a little smaller than the epic gatherings other conventions are lately becoming, but I'm kind of looking forward to that. Anyway, it's in my local 'hood which also provides some other tasty destinations like my beloved City by the Bay which I would love to show you all around. Early registration ends Feb 23rd, so get on it!

Dates:
Convention: Friday, April 9, 2010 through Sunday, April 11, 2010
Public exhibition: Sunday, April 11, 2010

Location:
Fremont Marriott Silicon Valley
46100 Landing Parkway
Fremont,CA, CA 94538
(Google map)

Homepage: http://www.bricksbythebay.com/wordpress/
Registration: http://www.bricksbythebay.com/wordpress/registration/

EDIT: Early registration has been extended to February 23rd

Sadly I won't be there (this time) due to $$$ issues. Durn kids want clothes AND food AND a roof over their heads!

Hope it goes well and I can start saving for the next one...

Dadgummit! When will kids today learn. Back in my day, we used to live in an old water tank on a rubbish tip. We got woken up every morning by having a load of rotting fish dumped all over us!

Hey Tom, can you bring a few houses again? I'm bringing the same display as at BrickCon, was gonna build a few more of my own to flesh it out but running out of time.

Yeah I can bring some houses but I'm driving my Aveo so I won't have much room. I could probably bring 4 houses along with some landscaping I was planning on bringing.

How much table space can I have?
I was hoping for 30"x30" possibly 30"x45"

30"x45" is doable for sure, more if you want it, and 4 houses should be plenty - I think I only borrowed 3 from you at BrickCon.

Well it's Sunday night 4/11, last day of the con is put to bed. Do we have any pix? So sorry I couldn't make it, but I'd very much like to see what you were able to stage!

It was a fun event, and an exceptional success for a first go!

See you in October!
