With a Crew of Wolfpack Pirates . . .

Post by Azaghal »

This was largely intended as a pirate ship, but since it's crewed by the Wolfpack and based on a modified 6057 Sea Serpent, I figured y'all would like to see it, too:

She's called the Sea Wolf.

This little vessel brought a smile to my face. I'm really liking the figurehead. But I am curious: why did you invert the arms?
May the blessing of the Lord be upon you. <><

Wow, great lookin' ship! It reminds me of 6057 Sea Serpent! I too love the figure head. Although I am going to ask the same question as Voran, Why did you invert the arms of the figurehead? Anyway, nice job!

The inverted arms are meant to imply that the wolf image was carved as if in the middle of leaping on something. I suppose it might have worked better if the torso was angled, but I didn't have a hinge brick in the right color.

Thanks for the responses, guys! :)

Like the boat, It somehow looks very medieval. As for the wolf figure, have you considered using a all black hinge brick instead? It would match the lower part rather than the figure itself, but it would just look like the black comes further up. Just something th think about. You did a very nice job of using basic pieces in a basic way without making it look blocky at all, Bravo.

Nice job, its always great to see more Castle ships. The Wolfpack was a nice choice for the crew too.
