Monty Python and the Holy Grail figures
Hey everyone! This set of figures was one of the first group I made, and it was completely inspired by Armothe's versions. They were one of the things that inspired me to get into this hobby hardcore. A few months ago the originals were destroyed by water, and in the meantime I came up with a much better method for applying the printed fabric.
Today is my birthday, and my wife is out of town, so I decided to make them again as a gift to myself. I added all the squires and a few other figures. Enjoy!

Arthur
Lancelot
Galahad
Robin
Bedevere
The Black Knight
Gawain

Awesome job! I'd love to see these guys re-enacting scenes from the movie - knees bent running about, running away, etc.
BTW, how'd you make the coconuts - cut the tops off of taps?

Re: Monty Python and the Holy Grail figures
Thanks, I am pretty sure I will have some scenes ready for Brickworld this year. I have plenty of ideas, just not much time right now. The coconuts are the bottom half of two goblets (I ordered 100 on bricklink so I figured I could hack up a few). The key is to make sure to leave part of the stem for the figure to hold onto.Bruce N H wrote:Awesome job! These are awesome customs! The packs are amazing with the fabric bedrolls. I also love all of the great choices of weapons and armor, and of course the torso and shield designs.
P.S. Happy birthday!

I love these guys, but I think Galahad should have brown hair and Bedevere could have a black grill helm. Other than that these are great! Can't wait to seem some MOC's using them.

Wow, these look very accurate! My favorite is Sir Robin. Probably because of the bard/singer guy that sings about him though. Not only are the figs great, but the little roads a neatly crafted as well. I too would love to see these incorporated into a MOC!

those.... are .... AWESOME.
freakin awesome vignettes! I love 'em!
my fave is arthur because of the way you captured how overloaded his serf is (and i know this isnt his quote, but its still appropriate ("help, help, i'm being oppressed!"))

These are great
These would look great on my desk.
I'd like to see how you'd do a Tim the Enchanter fig

Well done indeed. The chest as a backpack is ingenious!
