Buckler Shields
Buckler Shields
I'd really like to see the continuation of the small round buckler shield. We've only seen then used for the skeletons and dwarfs, but I would love to see them used for the Kingdoms line and beyond.

Re: Buckler Shields
They certainly would go quite well with a smaller bandit faction (i.e. forestmen/wolfpack). Kingdoms is only in its first year so who knows what LEGO has on the drawing board.

Great idea!
A buckler shield with no heraldry! Just some slashes and dents... With a few different varieties.

I think the slashes and dents will just come as a matter of course in playing with Lego.

I myself would prefer more pristine bucklers if we get them at all.Teh Stud wrote:Great idea!

Build? I merely Acquire atm.
Re: Buckler Shields
I could do without the battle damage slashes overall, but a neutral printed buckler that made it look like wood and steel would be sweet as well as faction printing.

I find it really curious that both the small triangular shield and the kite shield have stayed exactly the same since the day they were introduced, but there have been about four or five different varieties of circular shields over the years.

Huzzah for the bucklers!! They are great for the dwarves and skellies, but I agree they would be most excellent foe a bowman or even a pikeman.

Re: Buckler Shields
A print with wood grain and a grommet in the centre would be most welcome in my house too but a blank one would be nice too. That's a fantastic idea!

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!
