Kowe'on Sanctuary

Post by I Scream Clone »

Kowe'on Sanctuary

Come visit the luscious, bountiful Kowe'on Sanctuary, home to the gallant Forestmen who rob from the rich, give to the poor and have a rollocking wenchy good time to boot! Life is never dull with so many activities including water sports, archery, barrel rolling and much much more. You'll think you never left school camp! Pictures are deeplinked to my Flickr for larger versions.

That's pretty sweet. There are loads of details, but the curved railing keeps catching my eye. I really like that, and the whole concept of tree houses in general is just cool. :-)

Great Forestmen MOC. I think you've added a lot of details that look very nice. Is that a Forestman riding a pig I see?

Very nice MOC here. I like the stoutness of the branches and the landscaping on the ground level. One could imagine a few tree homes like this close together. The roots going into the water has a good look to it. The shape of the tree reminds me of oak trees. Nice Job!

Hi guys, thanks for the nice comments. To answer some of the questions, He is riding a pig, they are goats, I tried to go with curves to make the whole tree and balconies etc look more organic, and I wanted the tree to be large and dominating for a place to build housing into. Not sure if you guys noticed there are Rench heads used for cabbages, a William Tell scene, barrel rolling even an Ewok hiding up in the tree somewhere too. The name is "No Ewok" backwards but then you probably figured that out already.

This is gorgeous! I love the circular style, as you said it looks very organic and is pleasing to the eye. The activities are great and the creativity is even better! I love it.

Clever. :)

Anyways, I've been thinking about making a forest scene for a while now, but this has finally given me the inspiration I've been looking for. fantastic details all around.

This is great! i have always wanted to make a tree fort like this, but it never turns out well. the way you made the tree looks very natural.

And so he slipped into the forest, vanishing without a trace, leaving his pursuers lost without ideas, while he went to finish his MOC's.

Here's where they are:
