ATTENTION ALL CASTLELAND GROUP STORIES CO-WRITERS

How does this sound for a title? Castleland Group Stories: Invasion of the Sameri.

Or this: Castleland Group Stories: The Sameri Invasion.

I was figuring we that the prefix "Castleland Group Stories" would go infront of each story name. As such, the first story would be: Castleland Group Stories: The Jarithian War, or 'The Jarithian War" for sure. Does that sound alright with you guys?

So, the hing we need to decide on:

#1 Invasion of the Sameri vs The Sameri Invasion (or does anyone else have another idea for a story title? We're open for sugesstions! :))

EDIT July 26: I love where the story is going so far. Lots of cool stuff is happening!

A question concerning our character Gonn: do you think he should remain a prisoner, maybe until the Sameri campaign reaches further inland, or should he escape? If he escaped right now, he would probably end up trying to help the Kahula or Barahura cheifs unite against the Sameri. Or, and I really like this option, he remains a prisoner, the islanders are wiped out/almost wiped out, and he escapes when the invasion is further inland. What wpuld be really cool is if when he escapes, he joins up with Elwyn, Zrarahe, and Wilhelm. Maybe while they're on a spying mission? :eyebrows: I don't know; those are all just possiblities. What do you guys think?

I like the idea with the prefix "Castleland Group Stories", Zepp.
About Gonn, i prefer the last option (staying prisoner ´til the Sameri get to the mainland/Holderkranz area, then escapes and perhaps joins up with Elwyn, Zarahe and Wilhelm).
I don´t really know wich title i would like for the story yet.
Aaand we also need to find out who Gonn is/was spying for.

I agree with A_V, in that I think Gonn should remain prisoner for a while.

Here are some other possible names:

#1 CGS: The Sameri War

#2 CGS: War of Imperial Sameri Expansion

#3 CGS: Wars of Imperial Expansion

#4 CGS: The Emperor's War

#5 CGS: The Battle for Castleland

I was also thinking, that perhaps we should keep Elwyn for the next story. Maybe we could have something like "CGS: Elwyn's Destiny," for the next story. :woo: Maybe he becomes famous for fighting the Sameri and then sets up a kingdom.

Oh, in an earlier post, I described Robin as being king of the Forestmen, since I figured Alfred would have died of age. If someone wants Alfred back, however, just ask, and I'll fix it in a jiffy. :)

I agree, I love the name and I think Gonn should remain a prisoner for a while. I went ahead and took the liberty of introducing a new character, who appears to be helping Gonn escape, but my plans involve a failed attempt which will help show some things about Gonn and about the Sameri. I hope that's ok with everyone...?

Yeah, it's fine. :D I already read and liked it. :) What do you think about what the name of the story should be?

I think the prefix idea is great, and I personally like "The Emperor's War" and "The Sameri Invasion". :)

Hmm...looks like we have a wide range of preferences for the story title.

We don't have to pick a title yet, but we can if we want! :) The sooner a title is picked, the sooner I can start putting the story onto the website. (The reason why is because if I tried to put all of the stories on the same site, I would quickly max out on memory and pages. (We're using Webs as a hoster, and they only allow so much memory and pages.) If I were to put all of the stories on one site, I'd have to upgrade the site, which would cost money :( . The way I get around that is by putting each story on it's own site, but the site looks just like the main website. 8) That is what I did with the Jarithian War. So, the sooner we agree on a title, the sooner I can create a website for the 2nd story, beause I will need to include the story name in the site's title, and once Icreate the web adress and title, I can not go back and change it.

Let's be sure about the decision, though. I would hate to have a decision on the title made in haste, just becaus we're trying to get the site up as fast as possible.

I can change the title of my sites, but, does it not change the web address?

I personally think that stories are best named after they are finished, because it should be the story which shapes the title, not the other way around. However, for now I propose we can use a title such as "Castleland 2" or something of the like. That way, we all know what story we are referring to, and we can name the story later just by editing the web content instead of the site itself.

It's just an idea, and if anyone doesn't like it, then I vote we don't carry it out. Then we could just vote on a title pretty soon so that the website could be made.

I think thats a good idea. I neither don´t want a title that shapes the story...

I'd hate to have the title shape the story, too. I can't upload it to the website yet, but I can copy the story to my computer and edit the spelling and grammar, so when the story is finished, it'll fly onto the web faster than we can blink. :woo:

Okay, for people who are following this, the Group Stories are being reordered and the rules are changing. Go to this thread for news and info: http://z7.invisionfree.com/Teen_LEGO_Fa ... owforum=32

We are becoming just the Group Stories, so we'll branch into different themes, such as pirates and space.

That's all for now, folks! :D
