Lego just officially announced an awesome new set:

Here's a huge pic of the set:

I just might have to get this!

EDIT: The brickset link above no longer works, new link:

I guess brickset jumped the gun, the set will be officially announced sometime soon.

Wow, this is a gorgeous set. The parts monkey in me notices that there is a new printed shield up near the top center (maybe two, assuming there's a matching shield on the other side). Wonder how much it would cost to have a squadron of knights arrayed in this heraldry? :) Second on the parts front is, of course, all that beautiful tan, including close to a million cheese wedges. I'm sure Blue is happy today.

The official announcement is not until later this evening at Brickfair, so the links provided have most certianly jumped the gun.

You can see the offical announcement on TBB after 5pm PST this evening.

Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

Oooooh, yay! I think I have a new item to put on my Christmas list. ;-) I've been wanting to have tan cheese slopes to work into some patterns.... to go along with the whole PoP color theme. Now if I could just get some more of those medium dark flesh parts. You know, a basic 1x1 brick would be nice. :-)

Heh, welcome the wonderful world of TLG and new colours. There are numerous examples of them coming out with a new colour and we don't ever get even the most basic of building element in that colour. We get lots of the fun pieces but not basic brick plate and slope. Sand blue is one of the big ones for me; I waited a long time for them to give me a 1x1 brick in that colour and....nada. Quite a few times I tried to sit and build something in sand blue but it was always something that turned out way too plain just due to the parts pallet I had to use. Anyway....

I'm not that surprised that they are able to keep the PPP low. With the number of cheese slopes in this set it should be low. It is after all, one of the smallest and simplest pieces they make so their cost must be pretty low too. They're just passing the savings on to us. That's nice to see.
