I love the round curtain wall( right term?). I think the foliage pieces give the base plates a nice "wild" look but I often feel like this method makes it look like they are walking through a jungle. Anybody have any comments about that method?

In some cases i think you are right, but here i think that putting all of the foilage there was the right thing to do, it gives this MOC a more real look... but thats just me

The foliage does give a realistic effect, however with the huge amount that there is, it might have been a bit overdone.

Other than that, the MOC is awesome. The timber-frame houses on the tower and on the side are great, and the river is excellent. :)

And so he slipped into the forest, vanishing without a trace, leaving his pursuers lost without ideas, while he went to finish his MOC's.

Here's where they are:

Very well done. How long did it take you to plan and build?

As always, your landscaping looks spectacular. I also love the curved wall on your keep. I've tried curved walls before and I know they can be challenging.

That is a really nice castle. I love the clean lines and relatively simple geometry. I also really like the SNOT river, with the brown banks. I do think that the bridge would look better brick-built, instead of the prefab piece. As to the foliage; I think it works great here. It looks like an un-mowed or un-grazed field, which I think could be quite appropriate. You could, perhaps, try to put in a slightly worn path though from the front gate to the outbuilding, where the figs are walking. I think that would add a bit more realism to it.

I love it, it's an awesome looking keep with great landscaping. The only thing I would say is that, like Cm2 said, a slightly worn path would look great and add realism.

About the grass, I'm not sure if it would look better done a different way, was just commenting on the method in general.

i like the main MOC but the plants need to be cleared a bit. the bridge would be fine as is but might look better brick built. And i couldn't tell, are the forestmen allies to the crownies, or invaders?
just my two cents.
He who thinks you should look at the box that says "Quaraga" if you want to find out his username (about as useful to you as his real name). he only wants you to look so he can laugh about you looking there because he's a total smart...

I like it a lot: expecially all the vegetation and the wizard's stick!

Aww sweet! Very awesome! It's hard to comment on stuff this good because theirs too much too say! I'll just go with what struck me first: the environment is great! I really like the mud banks on the river! Of course the castle is splendid!

I like the little details like the hollow cross on the wall above the gate.

Also, what is that little red house suppose to be?

The red house is supposed to be a peasent's house, but it can be what ever you want it to be.
