I for one welcome our new Nostril-horse overlords. As a respected member of the online LEGO fan community, I will happily round up AFOLs to pay homage to the Nostril-horse king (aka Josh).

Does someone have a picture of the horse variants? I'm unfamiliar with this, and I'm curious to see the difference.

Hm, very interesting. And I assume from the previous comments that that hole is the size of a plume base? I'll have to look through all my horses to see if I have any of the holed ones.

The hole is exactly the size of the small peg sticking out of flames. The plume base is slightly smaller. You can see this thread for more information.

This is similar to the differences in the tap pieces recently. The newer ones don't have a hole in the end, like they've always had. These actually have a different Bricklink entry, though.

Personally, I like the old ones better, but it's really neither here nor there.

I'm agreed about this. I wish that the hole had been big enough to fit in plume/fire pieces though, particularly given that it's a tap...
It does, however, fit the axle of the minifig bike wheels, which is good for wheelchairs.

A little update.

I got a darkgreen one in the Kingdoms line (7947) and in the new Harry Potter Bordgame I got 4 inverted flags. The red, green and blue are regular colors. The yellow one is brighter than the normal yellow. It's the same color like the yellow flags from the Orient Expedition.

As far as I can tell, the dark green flag is only available in the inverted form, which is unfortunate in my opinion since it has limited pairing capabilities (few flags in fewer colours are also inverted). That is, unless pairing an inverted flag with a "regular" flag doesn't bother you. :tasty:

If someone does manage to find a dark green flag that isn't inverted, please let me know.

Has the inverted flag replaced the old mold? Because all 7 sets I've bought this year with flags have inverted ones.
