32x32: Cartref Castle
32x32: Cartref Castle
So I guess I should get around to doing this:

Cartref is welsh for 'home' by the way.
Sorry, there won't be any more photos. I can't make any excuses other than my laziness for not doing an interior. Forgive me.

Re: 32x32: Cartref Castle
Gorgeous. Just the right level of detailing on the walls. I also particularly like the angled gateway, which is done very neatly, and the windows of the timbered section.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Re: 32x32: Cartref Castle
Ooh, and the doors. Lovely timber effects there.

The door and the half stud offset in the windows are nice.

Yea, I'm wondering how he managed the half-stud offset? I don't think I've ever seen that before in windows.Blego7 wrote:The door and the half stud offset in the windows are nice.
Anyways, this is an excellent castle! I would love it if TLG released a castle set like this.
I'm becoming very fond of these 32x32 castles.

Re: 32x32: Cartref Castle
right on the jumper plates to achieve the inset but not the curved parts. I simply put one of these on top of the bricks/window which slots into the top of the arch.elwurmogrande wrote:I think he used these two partsJacob C. wrote:Blego7 wrote:Yea, I'm wondering how he managed the half-stud offset?
