So I thought about what I would want an impulse set to have, and I came up with this. Here is my entry, Impulse Knight http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/221277 over on mocpages. Enjoy!

I'll have to whip up an entry as well!

Here is my entry. How fitting that it contains pieces purchased from the creator of this challenge (I think)! It is called Paladin's Prayer, where we find a Paladin saying a short prayer at an altar before riding off to some battle or quest. It contains 19 pieces + minifig.

spiffy paladin. personally I don't like the knight/garden impulse,I mostly think either it needs an interesting setting/accesory or an interesting fig and it just didn't work for me.
He who thinks you should look at the box that says "Quaraga" if you want to find out his username (about as useful to you as his real name). he only wants you to look so he can laugh about you looking there because he's a total smart...

I agree that impulse sets should be a great value (often not the case) and have some part or fig that is desirable - my view is an impulse set never has much of a setting.

Sorry it didn't work for you, it definitely is not super creative or imaginative, but I personally find the fig desirable, the weapons and plants great, and the barding an interesting and desirable accessory. My 6 year old thought it was great, but kids and AFOL's often have different views on what is 'cool' and desirable. Maybe if a tree was replaced with a cypress (x69) it would be worth $4.00 US? :D

haha a wolfpack impulse set!, I love it. Love the minifig's face and weapon choice, this looks like a real impuls set.

Is that the minifig from the new Advent Calendar? Great job on the design on the back as well. Good luck.

My entry.
Total of 18 bricks.
19 if you include the extra knife you'd get from Lego.

I made this impulse by concentrating on making a cool minifig, then I figured out who he was and what he should be doing.
