The Purple Samurai

Post by Jacob C. »

Last night I was experimenting and colored a piece of samurai armor with a blue sharpie marker.
Unfortunately the color turned out purple, but all was not lost...
Luckily I had a pair of legs that jived well with the purple color, and the end result is...

I have those legs and normally I hate them because they never look right with anything else I have. But that solution looks fantastic. You could also try another version in purple model/acyrillic paint for a more "legitimate" look. (:

Pretty cool and thats coming from a purist! I kinda like the metallic look, Actually I love the metallic look! Really good job! You should make some more colors! :D
TLG themselves could take some notes from this design, Samurai armor was normally painted from what I have seen.

Will the sharpie ink fade after awhile or proned to be rubbed off?
