But why not use the stubby legs? Oh, I just realized they are not available in red.

Very nice! The look of the nose-less face doesn't look right though, but i see why you went for a nose-less face because Asterixs nose would be too large to print 'realistically'. Maybe you could make one out of some LEGO piece and glue it to the face? (since you aren't going for a purist fig anyway).
Are you going to make any more Asterix characters(and romans)?

I saw this on Flickr and from the thumbnail I thought it was Elmer Fudd from the Barber of Seville cartoon. Asterix is cool but like DNL, I miss the nose.
