Much to the dismay of all the Ebay Sellers trying to jack the cost of owning one of the most delightful sets that came out last year,
Lego has decided to release another run of this gorgeous holiday toyshop.
Set 10199 Winter Toyshop, $59.99 US
Its listed at "Hard to Find" on the website.
Even a few months ago, these were selling briskly at an average bid price on Ebay at $80 easily.
I love it when Lego re-releases a nice set and undercuts the secondary market.
Kudos...
now if Lego Shop@Home have more stuff in their "Sales and Deals" section....
Ben

Oh, good! Now that I'm officially out of my Dark Ages, I was starting to covet this set a little bit.

I was glad when I saw that they've re-released this set, as I regretted missing it the first go around. My only trouble is that it would be very unwise of me to purchase each of the sets which I covet, not to mention the occasional traipse through bricklink.

Ahh, yes. I remember how I went to the store and snagged the last copy of this last year. That thing was selling like hotcakes (how do hotcakes sell, though? )! Glad they're bringing it back out for those un-able to get it.
I just got the Winter Village Bakery to add to this.

Re: Winter ToyShop Returns to Shop@Home
That will look really cute with the Toy Shop. I haven't opened my toy shop yet, was waiting until I decorate for Christmas this year. I need to figure out a way to incorporate all that plus the holiday train into my town. The scale of those buildings is small compared to my setup, which is the Cafe Corner, Green Grocer, Market Street type thing... generally three story buildings.Forestboy wrote: I just got the Winter Village Bakery to add to this.

I am moving this thread to the Buy/Sell/Trade forum as it is more appropriate there. Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up, mine arrived today. Wanna crack it open but reckon I'll wait till Christmas.

I ordered the toy shop and the bakery. I'll be getting them for my birthday. Yay!
