Alternative models on Lego boxes

Post by Jojo »

Hello!

Some of you may have seen my BrickShelf folder with scans of box covers and backsides. Now I have founded a Flickr group where everybody is able to submit scans of alternativ models. (However, before you do so, please search within the group to make sure, the respective scan is not already in the archive. Better scans of course are always welcome.)

Hi Jojo,

This is excellent news. Will the alternate models be divided into different groups by theme?

Actually I intended to combine all scans within one group. Further segregation (is this the correct word?) could be done by accurate tagging.

Accurate tagging? Are you new to flickr? Hehehe, I hope you are willing to put in the time to do the tagging yourself or are going to 'hire' someone to help in that regard. I kid, I kid but this is a great idea and a terrific use of the flickr groups.

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

I'm thrilled to see someone undertaking this herculean task. I've actually done some web searches in the past for one or two of the images you've posted, and had always come up empty handed.
