Medieval Modular Houses-A CCCVIII Misc entry
This took a long time to plan and finish, but it was worth it. Both houses have 2 levels and a roof, with full interiors. The floors are completely tiled and most furniture can be moved (like a dollhouse). I didn't like the second house too much so I took it apart for future MOCs.
My influences and inspirations are drawn from the master Derfel Cadarn and the Medieval Market Village TLC set.
I hope you enjoy!

Nice job! I really like all the detail you have created with the 1x1 plates! Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see an update.

So, any more C&C before I start BLing?
Re: Medieval Modular Houses-A WIP CCCVIII Misc entry
I like the first house, but I cannot use in my city because the church is so small. I guess I'll dismantle it and build a greater.

Beautiful houses! I love the designs though I might suggest some variation in the house on the left mainly due to all the repetitive small windows. Great start though!

Lovely. Make a lot more segments and build the entire city! I would do the same but I'm too stingy; if I build part of a town/city, I have to build the rest. No wonder I'm broke.
Don't buy the tan bricks they are MINE! I CALL THEM!.... nah there's plenty who am I to be worried... the House of Logos and the Bordello Brick Company got it covered.ThatGuyWithTheBricks wrote:So, any more C&C before I start BLing?

Any more pictures of them? I really like these and think it a good start for any medieval/fantasy town. Some different roof types and more colorful colors might help the over all appearance.

Yes, I agree this would be a great start to a full town. These houses are nicely built, and the figures are well placed and seem to be enjoying themselves. Great job!Heir of Black Falcon wrote:Any more pictures of them? I really like these and think it a good start for any medieval/fantasy town. Re: Medieval Modular Houses-A CCCVIII Misc entry
I have just had a look at flickr link. Somehow I was expecting to see heaps of designs, I am not sure how I got to that conclusion!?
Anyway, nice design. I really like how you used the 1x1 round tiles for the lower walls, it certainly adds texture to those walls.
Thanks for sharing.

I'd like to have those as part of my village. I really like the busy tavern feel, and it's great how you've made the buildings modular. As mentioned already, your cobblestone is quite nice.
