Hey all,

Dave Scalone showed this amazing Hogwarts at the recent Brickvention 2011, where he took 2nd place honors.

The architecture on this is incredible! Tall towers, conical roofs, and curved walls. The detail in the architecture is fantastic! Also he does an excellent job with the rocks and the layout of the MOC.
Thanks for the post Bruce.

This is really amazing! The tower with the blue in it is really cool. I wish I knew how to do that! The only problem is that without the title of the MOC, I would have had no idea it was hogwarts when I first so it on the main page.

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. In relation to the blue in the main tower,it is achieved by backlighting trans clear 2x1 bricks with white LEDs. Cheers David.

This immediately caught my eye when I was browsing through Brickvention photos.
The architectural details are great, and the whole thing fits great together. Excellent job David!
A very inspirational MOC indeed :D

I really liked the architectural skills used in this piece. Also how did you do the slopes on the towers? Looks really cool, would like to eventually try that technique... :)
