Medieval City

Post by DNL »

It has been a while since I posted a MOC, but i have finally taken the time to take pictures of the upgraded version of my city that was part of the Lowlug castle layout at Fanwelt in germany a few months ago:

Excellent layout! Thank you for posting these, they are very inspiring. To name just one feature that caught my eye is the rock formation. I love how it appears you slanted the bricks.

Absolutely breathtaking--every time I look at it I catch something else I missed before. My favorite part is all those smaller structures within the wall. Very, very cool.

Beautiful! The whole thing is just wonderful. I think that my favorite part is the rock faces about the base of the castle, although that is not to say that anything else is lacking by comparison. If I were to give one constructive critique, it would be that there isn't much comedy going on for the minifigs, but thats just an opinion of mine that has very little to do with the MOC as a whole. Great Work :D !!!

Fantastic work on the architecture! The height of this is also phenomenal! One of your better works in my eyes. The rocks, layout, foliage and houses are all done beautifully!

Just plain epic. Not only its size is impressive, but you've managed to put an amazing amount of detail in it. Certainly one of your best.

Excellent. I've been wanting to get some more detailed pics since seeing it as a part of Lowlug layout. The houses are all very detailed. And the castle? Well, let's not even get me started on the castle. ;)

Truly though. It's a beautiful scene. Wonderful landscaping and architecture. Everything about it is great. I love just to sit and look at it while I'm working (or pretending to do so anyway).
