Monthly challenge #7: Love is in the air

Post by Bruce N H »

Hey all,

Let's get ready for Valentine's Day! This month your challenge is to celebrate love, whether you give us a king and queen, or the fair princess and her chivalrous champion. Maybe you'll illustrate Guinevere and Lancelot, or Troilus and Criseyde. Venus is rising and love is in the air.
Alas, my love, you do me wrong,
To cast me off discourteously.
For I have loved you well and long,
Delighting in your company.

Lovers Glade is a MOC I made for my wife and for the "Be My Brickentine" contest.

Like Avalon to King Arthur, Lover's Glade was a secret solace found by Siercon and Coral. Undisturbed by the harshness of the medieval world the couple could swing under the weeping willow, swim in the cool falls, and rest on the sunny banks. Today Siercon brought a picnic with Coral's favorite strawberry wine and caramel apples, along with letters of affection.

This is also the first of our MOCs in which we have "Count the Critters." So search the landscape and try to see how many you can find! :D Answers on our flickr.

I did this one a little while ago, experimenting with "dresses" on my minifigs.

If saving your man from a horde of slimy frogs isn't true love, I don't know what is.

Hey,

February is done and it's time for this thread to fly free. I'm a little disappointed that no one took me up on Troilus and Criseyde, but there were some great MOCs. I know my heart was a-flutter. New challenge on the morrow.
