Another New Guy....

Postby Hoboman » Thu Feb 24, 2011 1:51 pm

Hello All,

My real name is Daniel, but I will be using the handle Hoboman. I have been re-introduced to Lego through my son's interest. My son is just turning Seven and we are having fun with Lego both as building tools and using the Mini-Figures in war games.

Back in the day when I was a kid I loved Lego. But I admit my head was in the stars back them. The present Kingdom line has caused me to find the whole Castle theme and fall in love with it. My building skills are VERY rusty so I would not expect any real creative MOCs from em any time soon. But I am trying and learning. :)

Either way, thank you for allowing me to join your community.

That's what got a friend of mine back into Lego after some time away from it. Nothing like a good game of Brikwars. :D

Welcome to Classic-Castle!

Part of what helped to keep me interested in LEGO Castle was the ability to create scenes from D&D games; especially using minifigures for characters and monsters. Welcome to the site.

Thank You for the welcome guys. :D

I believe that Lego does lend itself to both fun War games and also I could see it used for RPG games as well.

Anyway, thanks again.

Welcome to Classic Castle. Normally I'd say something about new carpet, but we're waiting until winter is over to replace it.
