Re: LEGO Theme Survey
Especially, since every set could contain a peasant. If Mr. Hood is going to rob the rich, he may as well have someone to give the spoils to.

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

Re: LEGO Theme Survey
A Mythology theme. The theme might capture enough people and start off-shoots. Greek Mythology could start a Greek theme. Same with Romans, Vikings erhhm Norse, Chinese, Indian. There are a great many Mythilogical stories that would also capture many great Monsters as well. It could also be very easy for tie-ins to movies without even trying. Clash of the Titans for instance easily tied in with the tale of Persus. For those of the Tolien lovers take dwarf and elven mythology etc. The theme might be a little broad but it could allow for many people to be happy at once.

Re: LEGO Theme Survey
I'd like them to continue as they do now, the Lions are a nice, solid faction, and the dragons a good counterpart that is not too fantasy. What I really love is the peasants that made their return.
If I could ask for anything, it'd be a migration era theme, ties in before the vikings, and has so much beautiful legends and figures, LEGO'd have a lot of factions to choose from.

Re: LEGO Theme Survey
Well the topic has been dormant for a while, and since a few people decided to wake it up...why not give some new and fresh ideas.
I agree with the mythology ideas 100%, the fantasy world has much more area to explore. As a LoTR fan and a D&D junkie, I firmly agree to the more dwarf and elven settings. Even in my old days of playing Everquest I always imagined how to build the wood elf city out of LEGO bricks.
What would I personally like to see? Legend of Zelda LEGO sets and Mario Sets, two massive castle possibilities and a lot of fun ideas to build upon.

Hi ppl, How About a World Of Warcraft theme
It has Efs, Humans, dwarves, orcs, trolls, goblins, undead.
Or with the launch of shogun 2 total war, why not a True shoguns line instead of the ninjago line, lol.
To be true, i would like to see two new lines, a world of warcraft/lords of the rings line (only after the current knigdoms line is over, can't wait to get the new sets). The second theme would be a Stargate line.
best regards
Thoriun

Re: LEGO Theme Survey
I don't know about anyone else, but I'd love to see a 16th-17th Century Castle/Pirate theme, kind of along the lines of the sadly demised Imperial Armada in the Pirates line...
I figure there's plenty to work with in that era that would appeal to kids: I.e. have the Kings Musketeers battling to save the King from the Evil Cardinal and his Vile Henchmen, you could have something loosely based on Cyrano de Berjerac, a Merchant of Venice set, another set with the crazy Spanish Knight and his Trusty Squire vs the Evil Windmill ( ), or from a more contemporary look at the era: The Dread Pirate Rodgers who seeks to rescue his One True Love from the Evil Prince. You could even have Cardinal's Guard and Musketeers Battle Pack (All for Fun and 5 for a Dollar!)
....Just my two cents, though.

Captain Darling: "Look, I'm as British as Queen Victoria!"
Capt. Edmund Blackadder: "So, you're telling me that your father was German, you're half-German and you married a German?"

Re: LEGO Theme Survey
I'd like for lego to continue Castle ( 2007 ) with elves.
You've got to ask yourself one question,"Do I feel lucky?" Well do ya, punk?

a forest castle theme with elves, orks, trolls, dwarfs, dragons, and other stuff like that would be very cool.

Re: LEGO Theme Survey
I was going to propose this as well and saw the Idea has been posted already.Halberd777 wrote:A Mythology theme. The theme might capture enough people and start off-shoots. This would be an almost endless source for sets. Pegasus, Unicorns, Cyclops, Argonauts, Sirens, Dragons, Chimeras, all kinds of stuff and stories that could be churned out of myth.
I think this would be a great non-franchise theme with lots of room for creativity.

It would be quite easy to link the Heroica to such a theme too.lord_of_orks wrote:a forest castle theme with elves, orks, trolls, dwarfs, dragons, and other stuff like that would be very cool.

Re: LEGO Theme Survey
Hi everyone,
I am not sure If I am right but maybe some of you could help me.
Yesterday I searched at Bricklink for a black woman head (sorry but I married one ) and I couldn't find. Only some male black face from NFL, SW and PoC, but no female!!!
So I would be very happy if TLG would launch a africa theme or a black girl at next collectable minifig series. What do you think?
Thanks

It would be nice if they did but I think it's highly unlikely.Gothano wrote: I would be very happy if TLG would launch a africa theme or a black girl at next collectable minifig series. What do you think?
