Monthly challenge #8: Think Green

Post by Bruce N H »

Hey all,

In honor of St. Paddy's Day, this month's challenge is 'Think Green'. Take that any way you want. You could simply go with a green color scheme, or feature a faction with green livery such as the Dragon Knights or the Forestmen. Or be festive and give us some leprechauns. Or how about illustrating Gawain and the Green Knight. Maybe some architecture with a green man motif. Narnia fans could show us the Lady of the Green Kirtle, or Middle Earth fans could have hobbits drinking at the Green Dragon. Be creative!

Awesome! can't wait to see what everyone comes up with! I...must...start...building.
Some folk we never forget
Some kind we never forgive
Haven’t seen the back of us yet
We’ll fight as long as we live

I actaully have an idea that would fit perfectly with this theme. Now, will I ever get around to actually building it?

How about Trans-Neon Green? :)
We pulled apart our Crystal King (which by the way is an awesome set) and made a brick built crystal dragon. This is a magical golem created by one of our wizards.

I love the crystal dragon! xD That black background really sets off the bright neon green. Very, very nice.

I'll be interested to see other entries. I'd enter as well but I haven't built a thing recently. -_-;;

I'm fairly certain i've gone blind. the brightness of the dragon makes flames seem superfluous. good work.

sightlessly,

Sunday is the first day of spring and all the trees are flowering around here, so I thought it would be fun to try my hand at something spring. The title is "Spring Time along the King's Road". The build is nothing spectacular, I tried something different with the trees to get the flowers to stand out more and be able to make the branches at more of an angle, but I still have mixed feelings on how it turned out. Anyway, enjoy! :)
