Mobile device app

Post by Bruce N H »

Hey all,

We're excited to announce a new development for CC - we're going mobile! Go to the iTunes store to download the new Classic-Castle app (Android version in development and coming soon).

Moving into the 21st century with 15th century MOCs ...

... Wow!
Definitely a plus for me. I will have much more access to the forums then. A great advancement in LEGO technological history! Thanks admins!

April Fools?

If not, I think it's a great idea.

If it is an April Fools joke, its a very subtle one that should fool a lot of people.

Agreed. Understanding that this would be a very good joke, considering if it is, it got me pretty bad.

I came looking for the April Fool's joke... I wasn't around this time last year for the Classic-Cattle thing. ;-)

(I don't necessarily understand the appeal of apps of webpages-- I guess they're helpful, but I just got the ipod touch, and it does websites too. I guess an app is just supposed to make it more user friendly? I'm still new at the whole app thing, though.)

I actually believed this when i first saw it, but when i couldn't find any Aprils Fool's jokes on the rest of the forum...

It would be pretty funny if this actually turns out to be true :)

Considering the fact that this forum is using phpBB, I'd be surprised if the phpBB crew haven't already made a mobile app for it. But at the same time, I've been hunting around my usual haunts for April Fools Jokes(ThinkGeek & /. are the best).
