The Artist's Apartment (And an Introduction)

Postby Walter » Sat Apr 16, 2011 9:09 pm

Guten Tag!

This is my first post here on Classic-Castle, so I believe an introduction is in order.

I'm Walter!
Maybe some of you have seen me around the interwebs and on Flickr! This is my favorite Lego site when it comes to Castle, so I figured I'd join whenever I build anything Castle related.
I have a deep passion for Disney, Lego, Art, and Star Wars. I enjoy many different themes, and I'm constantly switching between the ones I enjoy.

I've been somewhat out of swing with Castle, but I know I'll return to the theme eventually. It's inevitable. :D

I recently built a vignette for a collectible minifigure I own. I figure I'd kill two bird with one stone and post this along with my first post.

The artist finishes up his recent portrait in his stylish apartment in Paris, France.

Enjoy! Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Nice work. I like the floor and the spilling paint. The sloped roof is also a nice touch that I will likely steal one day.

Welcome aboard, too!

Wow that's an amazing amount of deetale for such a small MOC.

No no no, it was just a lame mistake on my part. Thanks for pointing it out.

The statue in progress is quite a clever little detail (one among many).

The painter was my favourite fig from the fourth wave, so seeing him in this small diorama is a treat. Both me and my girlfriend were impressed with what you managed to do with him.

Welcome to CC too btw! :)
