Pharaoh Battle Crown

Post by K3G »

Hello everybody,
this is my custom piece of the Khepresh, made in ABS.

The Khepresh was an ancient Egyptian royal headdress. It is also known as the blue crown or war crown. New Kingdom pharaohs are often shown wearing it in battle, but it was also frequently worn in ceremonies. It used to be called a war crown by many, but modern historians refrain from defining it thus.

The Khepresh was made from cloth or leather stained blue. Like many other royal crowns an uraeus was fastened to its front.

I hope you like it, thanks for your comments!

Yes it is a custom torso, I used Amset-Ra standard one and I put an armor on it.

Wow that is a great piece! What type of equipment do you use to creat your pieces? 3d printer?

Thank you.
No, 3D printer offers a very low quality pieces. This one (and the double crown) are made in ABS by injection in a mold.

Okay sir, I must say, you have me speechless with the pure beauty of this helm. The color are spectacular. The mold is beautiful and flawless. It totally gives off the feeling of ancient Egypt. VERY well done!

Wowee! So this is made with an injection mold? Does that mean you can produce more? I'd be very interested in aquiring a few of these.

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

I'm thinking about producing it in bigger quantity. For the moment only the double crown red and white is available (see my other post).
