Found some pics of a board-based strategy game I built with a friend back in high school:

Re: Tactics
Life is short... Bury! Steady Sword!
Bet ya can't guess what my favorite game is . Replicas of some of the FFT "boards" would probably be cool...might have to try it some time. The actual FFT "trading arts" figures take up 8x8 squares, though (yeah, I really checked lol)...not that it matters since they only made 4 of them (Balthier doesn't really count). Wish they'd made a ton more...that'd be a great way to play the game.

Nice bro I didnt really try to replicate any of the game maps but that would really be cool.
You wonder why I'm not afraid?
There is no weapon
There is no blade
You'll never kill Him that lives inside of me.

Re: Tactics
Final Fantasy Tactics was a great game. I'm surprised I've never seen any MOCs of it, considering how similiar its graphics are to lego. Back in the day, I tried to make up a variant of FFT based on lego with dice, but in the end I just stuck with Brikwars.

I really enjoyed playing a lot of board turn based games on the computer before and they really are great to play when you just have a lot of time on your side.
I even remember downloading emulators just so I could play some games that made use of the gameboy hardware before. There was this game where you are also going to set up an army and let it battle against others, though I forgot the name of the game. It was really nice.
