Monthly Challenge #10: Weddings, Celebrations and Feasts!
Hey All,
I totally screwed up and forgot to post this last week. My apologies!
Anyway, your challenge, in honor of the month of June, is to build some sort of celebration. Anything goes, from a traditional wedding to International Cave Troll Day. Let's see what you've got!
Remember, there are no rules in the monthly challenges (other than the normal Terms of Service). Build whatever, however it strikes your fancy.
Build On,
Josh

I've taken a break from revision:

as usual, very fun

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

I have a great idea for this contest, but I don't know if I have the parts to pull it off. When is the deadline? I might have to make a trip to the pick-a-brick wall at the Lego store...

Re: Monthly Challenge #10: Weddings, Celebrations and Feasts!
Well, its not really a contest. Merely a challenge. We try to have one each month. This one is for June, so it ends at the end of the month. But there are no rules. You can still build your idea, even if the month is over...AK_Brickster wrote:I have a great idea for this contest, but I don't know if I have the parts to pull it off. When is the deadline? Re: Monthly Challenge #10: Weddings, Celebrations and Feasts!
Hi there,
This monthly challenge fits perfect for my current work on my six chapters.
Chapter two is an tournament and celebration place with tents, a big fire and a proper festival.
I will open a new thread for all the pictures and one shot for here.
500 x 375 is not the biggest format so I will give you a link to BS too. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=466475

Looks awesome, love the tents and the trees! Good job making the tents look thin and cloth-like rather than a pyramid. and the trees just look great, I like their mish-mash of pieces and shape!
One thing... perhaps make the photos public? ;P

Alas we are four days late-ish. But it is never to late for a party. So here in our fantasy Lego world no one knows how to have a good time more than the fauns. They always have epic dancing, music and food. =)

And there are no rules in the challenges, so the "deadline" is merely a suggestion.Siercon and Coral wrote:Alas we are four days late-ish. But it is never to late for a party.
This is awesome. Great scene!
