An army of dance instructors, now there's a scary image. Slightly off topic, but I wonder what is the strangest army of collectible figs someone has amassed? I currently seem to be accumulating werewolves (which seem to be one of the 'runts' of series 4) in the hope that I can think of something to do with them.JPinoy wrote:There appears to be about 5 minifigs that are worth being "Army-able"!

I would take the Punk Rockers and use them as an army (squad) in Brikwars with little change.lord_of_orks wrote: I have an army of painters and an army of punk rockers. I have no idea what I'll do with ether
Maybe you could trade them away to one of the Brikwars guys for something more useful for you.

Re: Collectable Minifigures Series 5
That would be cool, I'm going to be getting mostly dwarves, maybe some lumbermen and gangsters.

Hey all,
White Fang of Eurobricks was given an opportunity to do an extensive review of series 5. Hopefully we'll see these in stores quite soon now.

I am sure all of us are looking forward to pick these up in the stores, plus the fact that the new Dwarf will be another pretty hot medieval character too.

Re: Collectable Series 5 - link to full review
Series 5 has shown up in at least one store in the UK. Burakki62 bought these at "WH Smith, whitefriargate, hull", which appears to be in northeast England:
Coming soon to a store near you!

BTW, it seems to me that some of the most (IMO) desirable figs from this line will also be extremely easy to identify by feel due to large elements. E.g. the Buckingham guard's big hat, the gladiator's helm, the lizard-man's tail.

Re: Collectable Series 5 - review - now in stores (UK)
Because the last series was shortly available at TRU, I figured I checked their website to see if I needed to make a visit this week. It seems they will be available there in the US on 8/16. Series 5 Minifigs
Re: Collectable Series 5 - review - now in stores (UK)
Wow, that's great news that these are out already. I would've guessed that the packages would've been red instead of blue (or a shade of) again. Definitely the army builder series so far....

Great to know the release date, too bad I already spent so much on my WIP. Guess I'll have to cut back a little on this series.

Hmm, I haven't seen these in stores yet. I'll definately be on the lookout. I really like the cavewoman fig!

Yeah she makes quite a nice companion for the the series 1 caveman! Feel for her rubbery hair or the club.Mudpuppy wrote:Hmm, I haven't seen these in stores yet. I'll definately be on the lookout. I really like the cavewoman fig!
Will be interesting to see how many end up with opposite pairings! Female vampire and bride of frankenstein???
